I'll start! Starmourn has a lot more non-standard sexuality/romance options than I was expecting from an IRE game. Non-binary as a gender option for gendered species, a race completely without gender, non-plural marriages, races that explicitly don't 'do' monogamy, the fact that they're called "Dynasties" and not "Families" to allow for non-familial relationships (even if they're mechanically basically just families).
I just want to foot stomp this. I came across a mob yesterday that uses they/them pronouns and it made my night. That Starmourn doesn't only allow players to create non-binary characters, but actually writes non-binary characters into the storyline of the game, is huge.
Also, rave for Scatterhome, where someone made it clear on FT that transphobia was unacceptable, and no one disagreed in the slightest.
It's such a stark contrast from games where IC and OOC conversations would invariably lead to some asshole making some variation on the attack helicopter joke. It's a breath of fresh air.
I'll get off my soapbox now, but I just wanted to make sure Team Starmourn knows how immensely appreciated and impactful these seemingly small things can be. Thank you!
Man, I actually remember one of my characters catching flak in his love life because the family his potential partner was in was openly homophobic in the insidious "there's nothing wrong with them, but I forbid anyone in my family from dating one" style. This in spite of several high-ranking characters being lgbt in the city at the time. And a god. Who was joined by another, different gay god later.
Come one, come all W'hoorn, to the Cultural Exchange where we can talk about being catbird klingons!

This reminds me of the time a 'friend' IRL said to me, 'You're bi? I don't get that ... I like women too, but I could never do that to my family. They've done so much for me.'

Many thanks and love to the design approval team I keep spamming with stuff and they patiently go through it. They probably shook their head in dismay more than once!
Don't recommend making the same choices for everyone (I've gotten quite a bit of flak for it), but so far having one foot in each of two factions has lead to some really fascinating interactions and RP that I seriously doubt I would have had otherwise. It feels like new life has entered my character and for my experience in Starmourn in general, and I'm feeling it for sure

We had a Scatterhome/ Celestine party tonight and I gotta say 10/10, everyone should be getting out there and meeting the other factions!!
@Revelin's enthusiasm is a beautiful thing and I want to bottle it and carry it around with me and save it for a rainy day.
Also mad respect to you for some of your recent IG choices, though I won't go into details.
On a more game-related note, I want to say that I really love the Wetwiring system. Thank you for this, Staff of Starmourn. Thank you for listening to those of us who have loved your games for years, but struggled with some of the more complicated curing systems on the others. I've been playing IRE for well over a decade now and remember back when we had to carry a bunch of every herb and vial, and there was no IG curing system so we either had to make our own or rely on the kindness of others who made public curing systems. Coding skill was really make or break for combat viability.
The WW system is so much more intuitive and elegant. It's all in one place and it all makes a kind of sense that I can appreciate, causing stacking afflictions as the systems deteriorate, etc. I feel that even a beginner to IRE would not have too much trouble figuring it out. A+

Owner: Unknown Usable life: 3 mo.

Description: This empty container is sleek black with a see-through top, bearing the bold, violet
cursive of the UltraViola(R) brand. An additional label has been affixed in tiny block print, though
it has been partially stained, obscuring the list of ingredients. However, the words SPICY and
VEGETARIAN still stand out at the top, boldly advertising the most pertinent qualities of a dish
someone seems to have happily consumed.

I sent a concern privately to Starmourn support at night and then went to sleep. I woke up to a concise respectful response the next morning. Thank you.
I haven't played a mud in a while. Starmourn really pulled me in. I got excited to see my non-binary friends were welcomed with an option to play their gender. I adore that there is an entire race that prefers polyamory.
I love that my submitted typo was fixed and I was told about it.
Nexus is very easy use and I'm enjoying learning some JavaScript to go with it.
Tonight my irl friends and I stayed up late roleplaying, and crushing mutants. They're new to Ironrealms and hunting with them was a great time.
Fire builds in a Suncore ST-1 kithblade until it blazes white hot in your grasp, and you plunge it
straight into Ata Aurazi's chest, the sizzling blade of flame and metal rending through his defenses
until it reaches his heart in a fatal strike that cooks him from the inside out with the molten
force of your power.
The Fury instakill gets across a very clear idea. It's a little bit of a run-on, but glancing in it in the moment, it still completely works. Good writing guys!

Run on sentences definitely have their place when you need to convey that a lot is happening in a very short span of time. One of the nice things about knowing all the little grammatical rules for one's own language is that it teaches you how and when to break them.
Like, take Luis in the Marvel movies. That mean eats, speaks and BREATHES one long, meandering run on sentence. And it's pure gold.

Caichanar quickly swipes some images off its datapad as you approach. The images appear to have been of Amaian women wearing undergarments made of leaves.
I chuckled.

I didn't expect such a quick response when I made that post. You guys are seriously amazing. It is very much appreciated.
