Re: Recommended Playing Time 10/3 at 6pm EST
As someone who walked into the event, I feel like it was more flexible than complaints have listed. I really enjoyed being able to arrive at the scene of the bombing, look around, and react as my character would have IC. Was able to secure all their bombs, and help kill their leader. Which I'm sure was either Flip pivoting on plans after realizing I was in the locked room with them, or Flip just decided to involve me. Fun either way. Then I was able to include my Dynasty's Rp by helping deal with the issue in Celestine.
Overall I thought it was a good, fun event that was flexible enough to allow wildcards. I'd call that a win for any Event team. So, hat's off and props to the Event team!

Announcements post #87: Promotion updates!
<pre>From: Ilyos, the Arbiter
Subject: Promotion updates!
Greetings Starmourners,
It is that time again, the time to shake up the contents of our monthly ches--erm, urns! Some of T'rath's cultists have been toying with the contents and they seem to have added in a few new things:
- Data Ghost (Artifact power) - Data ghosting is an aftermarket hack of dubious legality made to your INR. Using a software shell that greps the INR's contents and a commsphere connection that pairs with nearby holoprojection hardware, the data ghost creates randomly projected snippets of your personality and appearance. These are displayed to any individual that possesses an INR of yours.
- Space Station Datalink - A small aftermarket mod that can be installed on your ship and allows you to access STATION PIRATE REFINERIES without needing to be at a station.
- A novelty holoprojector wand - POINT this wand at your minipets and it will give them an appearance that is better suited to this month's theme... Don't worry, your pets are perfectly safe! Even if they might not look healthy, living or dead after you've used the holoprojector wand on them.
- A neuroprojector - Allows you to NEUROPROJECT <message> and broadcast the illusion of your choice to all those present in the room.
- A skeleton-headed gemra cub minipet
- A skull shaped autofeeder
- A colorful bag stuffed with candy - allows you to PULL BAG and get some candy...over and over and over again! Well, there's a limit to the "and over again" and that's 12 per hour.
Also, keep an eye out for more developments with the death cultists over the following period. And if you've ever secretly wished to be like them (or at least look like them), know that they'll soon start dropping a cultist-themed lootset.</pre>

Whoever wrote the voting messages, I love you. Just got this one for the first time, I think:
Everyone thanks you for voting! Crazy Jerry is so happy that he just made an error in his books and embezzled some marks by mistake.

Thank you all for your input!Xiru said:Ilyos said:I was gonna say, this event only spurs Xiru's desire to return to Celestine. Well kinda. Currently he's sitting around drinking about how he's too pathetic to help out rather than being proactive. But as a player, it spurs my interest!Thank you all for your feedback on the ongoing event. The key word here is ongoing, so please don't count your wins and losses just yet...
I love conflict to spur up rp. Unless I'm mistaken, this is one losing RP event? I mean, if the admin was like HAHAHA that's all you're ever going to do and then we'll send Song out to trounce you, then I'd see an uproar. And it's ongoing, evidenced by the newfound residents on the streets. And that's a reason for a rallying cry, and if you can't immediately solve the issue due to the event nature of it, there's room for closed door sessions, huddled away as private as you can get it, talking about how to rid yourself of this crazy death cult.
There's room for suspicions, is anyone else involved, keeping a lower profile? There's room to try (and probably fail as there's limited storytellers/admins involved) to have minor conversations with the cultists, see if any of them will tell you more about why they're involved or even how they got involved.
There's room to mourn the loss of the guards.
The only way to really lose is to be mad you've lost and leave it there.
And yes, of course, if any of the members of CA (or anyone else!) wish to contact the Storytellers about any plot they want to run regarding the cult in Celestine, they are more than welcome to, and as Ilyos mentioned, the event is far from over.
Also, I can personally attest to the fact that if anyone attempts to talk to a cultist NPC, if I am around they WILL get an answer. And I am around a LOT. You can even feel free to send me a message (or a tell, but I'm usually invis) to let me know you're going to in case I accidentally miss it!

Recommended Playing Time 10/19/2019 - 4pm Eastern
Events are unfolding this October, and the cult of T'rath continues to spread its passionate message across the Sector. While players have been participating throughout the month, we will occasionally plan to run things on a larger scale to provide more grist for your roleplay.
As such, there is a recommended playing time scheduled for this coming Saturday, October 19th, at 4pm Server Time (eastern time). We won't spoil any surprises, but if you log in around then, you'll probably see or hear something!
Click here to see when the event will be occuring in your own time zone! (Thanks for the tip, @Sairys!)
See you then!

@Xiru Poor Poffy, Lamentations does see a strangely steady stream of corpses. Come back any time if you'd like another corpse disposal job!
