Our dear friend Otto
We all complain about the autopilot and its penchant for living dangerously.
I can understand that the shortest path from A to B frequently passes through planetary rings and such, but I recently tried SHIP TRAVEL TO REYNOLDS from Omni Station and the autopilot spent several minutes doing some very creative navigation before it finally found a suitably shield-destroying course.
Is there some kind of crazy spacetime curvature in the area? Or is space non-Euclidian in some places?

"You know what the chain of command is? It’s the chain I go get and beat you with ’til you understand who’s in ruttin’ command here."
