Hrm, I think I'm assuming that stancing gates certain things (possibly because all the stance mechanics I've seen are either you are in a stance you set or you are flowing through them to do different attacks).
but maybe that's not a thin… -
Leaning more towards Nano or maybe engineer at this point but gotta see what comes out info-wise

Kinda curious about how stances might work on a higher level.
Like, would they form a rough cycle that you transition through... like a > b > c > a with each part of the cycle having a few different options.
Maybe the ope… -

[spoiler] So yeah, I'm wondering if they're trying an amped up Tom Paris storyline with Michael.

I kinda liked it (also, yay for it being on netflix here :P).
I also think it's pretty early to be ruling trek or not trek. Apparently, we haven't actually met a bunch of main characters yet. We've just seen the stage being set up.
I actually meant something more like.
Say... crates of plasteel being an "org level" commodity (players would get chunks instead).
Any org could get them through various activities. For example, players might be able to mine s…(Quote) Yeah, it's mostly based on frustrations with Org v Org systems elsewhere and how little non-coms can help.
Also, it'd ideally mean that the inputs (events/activities that generate org comms) and outputs (bonuses / expansions ear…Personal hope for Org V Org is that it'll all feed back into an overarching system.
Like the trade routes/territories in the OP get the org special comms that they can use to make/power neat stuff for their organisation.
With …Space stations I could kinda see being some kind of special clan property thing which could be neat.

More of the same, here you actually note extra gameplay accessible at the top level. But you don't really talk about what it is.
In turn also ignoring the fact that the only real concern is about what that gameplay is.
(Quote) Eh, the quote you're using here seems rather out of context.
The comment you're responding to is about a noted behaviour where players who get to max level and don't have something of interest to them available then start arguing…@Shinonome
Realistically though, there is only so much utility and customisation that you can hand out. Also, you'll likely find that some players w…Sure, but when you're talking about a system that would call for consistent expansion you kinda need to consider what exactly that expansion is.

The standard IRE level 100 progression really isn't the same as your typical MMO max level though, so the comparison doesn't really work.
MMOs tend to follow the model that you need to get to max level to be a complete cha…(Quote)
There's an entire rest of the game for people to interact with though.

Increases in health and the like make sense as you level up.
