Still third! And we've got some "Out" too which means people are going from TMS to Starmourn!

I think it's because people don't really want to play for years waiting for certain things to happen. Also, you can't be logged on constantly all day every day if you want to have a "real life" (do MUDders know what that is?

Great post. I'm also really curious to see how the devs and the players will push this question. From what I've read, I've started to think of it as being similar to Order and Chaos in the Saga of Recluce series, though that might have more conflict…

I played Achaea for a few years about 10 years ago but with much less impetus to get anything done. More recently I played Midkemia for several years. I've played Lusty perhaps a total of 6 months but at different times and with varying success. I n…

It can be very frustrating for people to sit behind impassable walls because MUDs are just that--multi user--and the games are built on interrelationships. There are times that you want to do some solo-RP or just relax peacefully or have contained R…

It also depends a lot obviously on whether there are mechanical abilities particularly for thievery or compelling a player to do things against their personal inclination. It should be noted that hacking can be considered a form of thievery dependi…

New random question that I haven't found the answer to on the website, wiki, or forums, though it could very well be there somewhere...
How does time work in Starmourn? Is it like the other IRE games where it's comparable to real time and… -

In Dallas, TX area the day got quite dim around 1pm (peak was 1:09ish). I didn't have any of the special glasses, but I glanced up.I haven't really decided fully. I'm especially interested in nanoseer or engineer. I need to get my hands dirty with the class mechanics to make a well-informed decision. As things stand now, I think I'll probably start engineer.Tecton stated above that race will have no bearing on stats. Will there be any racial advantages or mechanical differences?(Quote) I literally lol'edAre there plans for newbie areas and/or volunteer guides? I noticed somewhere else in the forums something about the intro. I realize it's a little early on for that question since the game will likely be running a while before that sort of thing is…(Quote) Fair enough. It made for some interesting situations and diverse complications, including such things getting interpreters and variety in spying. That was rather fun, but it DID get very annoying sometimes. So there'll just be common …
