That is part of the charm of hacking. The flux of difficulty even in the same terminal is, in my opinion, very enjoyable and takes a lot of the grindy feel out of doing it.

I just want to re-emphasize getting your INR after a death. Particularly for the newer players. I see a lot of corpses laying about. That alone is typically a few percent worth of xp back from your death at lower levels.

Make sure you use queueing too. CONFIG USEQUEUEING ON.
For some reason, Nexus is crazy laggy for me so queueing is a lifesaver, particularly for quicker balance times.

I don't necessarily believe that long emotes are required for great role play. Some of the deepest and most meaningful rp I've ever been part of (in almost 15 years of MUDing) was mostly says and canned or short emotes.
