  • (Quote) This would violate HELP SECONDS.
  • (Quote) Entering and leaving atmosphere is a right bitch, plus dropping farther into a gravity well than necessary. Splitting station transports and interplanetary craft allows each to be better engineered for their own niche.
  • (Quote) This feels like it would be a huge nerf for everything other than Unload.
  • I'm not sure the point of directional Jam is, but I think jamming a room will block a scanner call that happens before it unjams. The cooldown keeps you from permanently jamming, though, and one call can be enough to really bollocks things, s…
  • (Quote) They already did one pass on the dictionary for the offensive stuff, so this stuff already cleared that without being pulled.

  • We're in beta, so I'm not super upset by areas that simply aren't accessible yet. One time areas probably shouldn't count for explorers, though, and it would be really nice if there was a quicker and easier way to flag rooms as not counting for expl…

I know, right? I've been desperately trying to keep grinding levels and not sink into a month of working on my UI, but seeing some of these and prodding at Geyser just makes me want to write a custom layout manager and that way lies m…
  • I certainly agree it shouldn’t be a primary way to advance a trade skill, but as a perk here or there I don’t think it would hurt.
  • Research on a long (daily) cooldown seems like it would be a cool way to see some steady movement without rushing it faster than the devs seem to want. Could also add some to hacking by letting you steal trade secrets or research by hacking certain …
  • It would be nice if there was a failure message to show the issue.
  • Sciurus, after my system. I may like squirrels a bit too much.
  • Is this only for people at level 75, i.e. Starmourners? :-p
  • We’ve had these conversations for 20 years now. Now that I think about it, I don’t remember IRE changing their prices in that time other than offering Elite and the no-brainer packages, and taking inflation into account, they’ve been getting cheaper…
  • Going back to the stupid robots under Song is a fun time to AoE them down with Missiles and PinDown, but yeah, equal level stuff just doesn't have a ton of viable options.
  • As important as the class heals are, is there any chance we could get their cooldowns in gmcp like we wetwiring and standard balance?
  • And the concept art has a railgun and missile launcher mounted at the same time, which are both large.
  • (Quote) My first thought would be three hexagons in kind of a > shape, hmm. Has anyone seen what Song is? I kind want to take a crack at some ideas in Inkscape.
  • (Quote) If you gave Beasts wristblade, shield, maybe a netlauncher, they could easily be melee brawler enforcer types without blinking an eye. It's honestly just the ranged options that feel out of place. I could easily see a line of B.E.A.S.…
  • (Quote) Yeah. I burned all of my free changes going back and forth between Beast and Scoundrel, and I'm still not sure I settled on the right one. MWP and Suittech seem like they're exactly reversed as far as I what I thought the focus of the…
  • (Quote) It's not necessarily open to the outdoors, just high enough to fly. I'm not sure if this should be maintained mechanically or not, but in something like a skyscraper it would be a difference thematically.
  • I do, although I'm not loving the place ADC is in, or having to claw my way to Silver every season after being reset back to the ass end of Bronze.
  • I’d super love to be a Nusriza instead of a human. I’m surprised this wasn’t an artifact, at least.
  • Oh, wow, so a whole lot longer of a potential monopoly, interesting! I dunno if that makes it better or not, but definitely interesting.
  • The first person to master a particular mod seems like they’d probably end up with a monopoly on it until they sold enough for others to reverse engineer, and could charge and arm and leg to make back that investment.
  • Is this a Scatterhome issue? I’m seeing maybe four new posts each time I log into Song.
  • I played Achaea back in high school, so 1998? I picked up Lusternia when open beta started and now here.
  • I can understand the frustration as well, but I tend to think of it as the likelihood of having a unique name in an entire galaxy is ridiculously small. That may be my amateur medieval onamastics background influencing things, though.

  • (Quote) At least it wouldn’t end up with everyone wearing fake noses, but I’m still not really into homogenizing classes. We have four, which seems like few enough to keep really distinct. As much I love my utility artifacts, I’m not sure the…
  • When they add new NPCs, should they check against the character database, too?

  • I’m not the biggest fan of a cooldown on Heartstart. I’m also not the biggest fan of how it works.

If it were up to me, I’d have Heartstart resurrect people, but at low health and force an uninterruptible Regenerate on them as it reboots …
