My two problems with incursions:1. You have to fuck around the incursion zone while enemies slowly spawn one by one. This doesn't happen in on foot pve so just have them spawn all at once. Spread them around maybe so they won't swarm…Dunno what y'all are on about, I found Starmourn to be BY FAR the easiest IRE game for PvE, with least harsh penalties for dying and that's with the debt mechanic in place. So what if I die? Farm some level appropriate mobs for 15 minutes, I ha…(Quote)No concrete numbers, I didn't take any - only what I remember off the top of my head:Scatterhome has the largest gender imbalance, it also has the largest percentile of Male Human and Male Jin, aka Mr Generic character…(Quote)Dunno what games you've been playing, but my RP experience with IRE god characters was limited to two scenario:1. PvP already has a goal which is either to stroke your e-peen by showing you're better at pretend combat than the other chump or to kill enemy raiders in a cosmpiercer or something. This happens regardless of any pot…Starmourn - crippling debt simulator.Truly the most 2018 of video games.(Quote)You thought wrong.Just putting it out there, I won't complain if Song conquers new piercers now, after the scoundrel nerf, and manages to hold them. If they manage do it. I just don't think it's fair they get to keep t…If you're a scoundrel check AB PUSHER. I know both Celestine and Song (probably Scatterhome too) used this to push guards around to make sure there's only one per room, which you can kill easily with a zerg of people and minimal casualties. (Quote)Newsflash: classes can fight differently and still be balanced. Balanced doesn't mean identical.(Quote) Yeah, they're pretty badass. But that's because the player characters are pretty badass too so you need badass-appropriate opponents.
Needs to be mooky and human-like. Both Cleax and Vonikin are too weird and the latter also pretend to play mastermind and avoid direct confrontation. Bushraki are the familiar face you love to punch.
(Quote) It impacts zerg rushes of lowbies who teamed up to powerlevel high level zones or take out cosmpiercers. If you're playing solo you're unaffected. Overall, a change for the better!
Bushraki are just asshole humans with heavy augmentation. Also we need a designated non-playable bad guy race. Sure there's Loroi but they're supposed to be tough (even though you kill them in two hits in the tutorial) so the game nee…Individual races have their dislikes and rivals but there's nothing that suggests civ-level racial discrimination. Mob strength is calculated as simple level comparison delivered in groups of 5. If one mob is level 11 and another is 15, the game will tell you they're the same strength.Really though, wouldn't be the first time a mob in an IRE game…(Quote)I know what happened (except the "armadas only attack enemies" bit), I understand why we're all pissed off, which is why I'm offering dev-side solutions right now. Course it's up to the devs if they follow my idea or not, but hop…Guards in the piercer attack non-enemies, dunno why space defenses don't. Probably so they don't accidentally shoot down unrelated people who are just flying by, but then that doesn't stop the guards in the piercer either, does it? Especially w…Gearing up for armor is unnecessary on low levels. It doesn't matter if you absorb a total of 10 or 12% of damage taken - the difference is small enough to be meaningless. If you find armor upgrade feel free to equip them but don't waste money …Yo guys. First of all, enemying someone for participating in cosmpiercer attacks is a dick move. Cosmpiercers are this game's structured PvP, what happens on a Cosmpiercer should stay on the Cosmpiercer. If you can't agree with that ICly, at…(Quote)Challenge != punishment for dying. In fact, you want players to be more daring to tackle challenges? Lower penalties for dying. I have tricks to make sure I don't lose money (no ban plz) and because of that I never lost more than 100-200 marks per death - but once again I doubt that's the intended solution to the problem here.
(Quote) You lose only as much cash as you had on hand and nothing more. Hence the Dark Souls approach - souls always burn a hole in your pocket so it's better to spend them at earliest opportunity than to wait until you die and lose them.
(Quote) That's cool. You cool.
(Quote) I sincerely hope not! Last thing I need playing this game is some admin's Mary Sue self insert bossing me around and zapping me for refusing to grovel before them.
