I can see those W'room or whatever and the Tukhav being prettied up by people, too. The others not so much

No need to make a specifically pretty race when people will pretty up anything anyway. Better just provide a template that can go whichever way.
-
@Sairys Yes, and you can still go pretty out there with the free-form description too. Might as well argue to have that changed too while at it. Predefined and saf…

I am all for fully free-form. If people naming their rooms in such a manner that they completely obscure what place of the ship it is, then just force them to have a certain word or group of words in the room title. So, for the engine room, the ro…

Definitely fury. I love sword-wielding classes.

(Quote) I would probably do the same thing in a similar situation. Getting a bit mad over being told something like that its just a bit silly, I think. In the end its just people wanting to be helpful.

1. No way to know until Starmourn arrives
2. Plenty of people interact with each other in Achaea. You have to look for interactions, not wait for them to arrive in your door neatly packed.
3. Unlikely. Much like people don't get hunted rut… -
Mostly Achaea. Dabbled in Armageddon. Lost three characters in short succession and burned out. Enjoyed it while I played, but it was too stressful too. I am the kind of person who gets attached to her character.

Figuring out how people fight is obviously going to be important, whether people use a system or not. The process would still be the same, watch and try to avoid what they might try to do.

Personally, the part of the game I really enjoy is the RP and social aspect. I have no problem in using scripts to aid myself once I have established that my character has worked in acquiring those abilities. I don't condone full automation, but so…

I mean, Achaea is opt-in too. If you stay out of open-pk areas, don't run your mouth, don't make enemies and generally stay out of anyone's ways no matter how much they might try to antagonize you then you are (probably) not going to get killed.
Another question. Is there any chance that we'll be able to set our age to a point? I know there's at least one ire game where this is possible.
Or will we have to start always at 18 years old?(Quote) They mentioned having it locked for now, but most of their other games usually allow you to log in with your character to make edits. Like as not they'll allow it too down the line. And not a single vote for Nath-el still. No love for bugs(Quote) But why would it affect any race's popularity? I mean, we don't even really know how stats are going to work yet. You make it sound like people were somehow assuming Elgan would be somehow superior in that department and have now bee…Nanoseer is the kith-mage. I am pretty sure the 5th class is the kith swordsman, and thats probably what I'll be. Otherwise probably Scoundrel.(Quote) My bet is that you'd have to refer to it in a way that doesn't hearken back to how it would have been called on earth, because earth has long since been gone. So the slang itself can (mostly?) remain as is, but you'd have to refer to …May you have a good life, and a better death.Thats hilarious for a good many reasons.I actually have an important question. I am aware it probably wont happen at the start if at any point, but will we be able to create our own clothing and things like in Achaea? Or will we be stuck in with denizen-made clothes? So, after further research, I've decided I also like the W'hoorn and the Tukkav a rather fair bit in addition to the Jin and Elgians. Seems like its going to be a real toss-up to choose one in the endin What's your favorite player race, and why? Comment by Arsentar August 2017
Space pirates unite! The Caribbean. Same timezone as aboveScatterhome will likely be it for me, at least for a start. Who knows where it will go from there.I like the Elgans and the Jin the most. Still not sure which one I'd actually play. I might just fall back to Human, though.
