What do you do if you find a player's corpse floating in space?

The other day I was flying around when I found some loose cargo floating in space. When I loaded it on my ship I found out it was somebody's corpse and a few junk items. When I docked at the station they gave me the cash value of the junk and the corpse was gone. Will the player who owns the corpse be able to scan the INR to get back some of their XP?

    That was an NPC corpse, players don't leave corpses in space.
    I forgot I was going to call myself Ike while in chargen, so now I'm Zarrach.
