I'm assuming that a woman would not presume to lecture over another woman's experience. I said I didn't know your gender.
Anyway, I'm done now. May we never have to have this collective discussion ever again. -
(Quote) I find apologies like this to be suspect. If you were really interested in doing the right thing, this would have stopped after the first sentence.
This is an 'I'm sorry, but.' Those never count.

Hi.
I'm going to say this one more time because the point is being missed in all this rambling.
There is 100% -zero- reason why anyone outside of the person being harassed, the person accused of harassment, a… -
So I've been mostly away for the better part of two weeks prepping for and moving.
I am level 30. An area that I should be emerging out of (the Biloxin swamps) is now squashing me, I'm barely surviving fights that I used to be able to h… -
I am all for making lots of nifty space materials, but for the sake of clarity in understanding what we are looking at, I'd prefer we don't go full bore on removing anything that has relevance to an earth-based origin. We don't -need- to, frankly, a…

Probably a tucked away Kaylee in there too. She got a good heart, the sassy space wench.

Wait - wait, what?
50 is still too low. Why in the world would this be limited? This is a pretty significant investment. You don't cap anything else that people choose to do in the game?
This is a pretty gross cash grab, imo. … -
Aetolia is 100 credits, plus mini skill lessons for primary trade skills. Imperian was 100 (and is, but for the first freebie on trade license) credits plus mini skill lessons for a trade skill. Lusty is bizarre and I tend to ignore it in IRE discus…

@Minion - Again, in no way is Discord being suggested as the only or even primary way to get information? I'm still wonder… -
Which, again, if someone is struggling to run nexus and can't access a faction discord, it would, in absolutely no way, make them lose access to info. Just -one- of the several avenues for discussing OOC information.
So? -
Some people may not want to, @Pollivar, and that's fine. Mechanical limitations is hilarious, though. Discord is available in browser or phone and as a desktop ap…

Aetolia even has the little mini crafting skills with an even lower cost of entry.

In every other IRE game, a tradeskill costs 100 for the license and they have mini-skill lesson requirements.
And a design costs 100 gold in the ones I have crafters in.
I'm also just baffled at why people wanna justify a cre… -
Quotes in the () often fail.
I've picked up a workaround with em blah, "blahblah," and, 'blah.' because I can't not. -
(Quote) ...they take precisely the same amount of time they took in other games where the cost is half that. And they could always implement player-approval processes like other IRE games have. This is a non-argument.

People are going to communicate OOCly. Having a faction-wide discord only makes that process more transparent, not more likely.
And I am definitely NOT suggesting info should be only accessible in a discord chat. I'm suggesting that it i… -
Well! Edit ate my comment. Bleh. My 't' key is currently borked (it's a laptop and yes I know USB but it's a PITA so no moar advice, plzthx) so bear with any weirdness.

I would love to know why IRE choose to double the cost of entry for a license (200 is yikes)?
More blood from the stone since you are limiting crafters to one skill?
Also, can it possibly be one soft (decorative) and one hard… -
First, on the subject of faction helps.
IRE has had a long history of needing OOC-oriented org help files.
Literally how we managed to get people PK and anti-theft prepped in a lot of cases (because we needed some way to brea… -
Am IC all the time, but if it would be handy for those who are unsure to feel cozier approaching me? Heck yes, all for it.

How did we end up with 5 pages of ranting over naughty words?

In b4 artifact INR LOCK - This device adds a sensor lock that requires an ID exchange before it can be scanned. Thus allowing the original possessor of the INR to note who took possession of it's valuable data. 300 credits.

NPC's make a bunch of earth references. Again, it's cannon that there is -literally a holorecording- of the memories of the survivors of Earth. Of, and I quote, "the last humans to have known our home planet."
We still have lingering info… -
1000 years ago is...really not that long ago. I have art replicas in my house that are from vastly older pieces. We have world religions built around stories far, far older. Popular fiction, like Beowulf, is retranslated and offered up in accessible…
