The Bushraki essentially survive on space drugs, so I'd be highly surprised if they didn't exist.

In Lusternia, old warriors used to be entirely contingent upon figuring out how to exploit an opponent's system. People would automatically parry body parts based on how damaged they were, so the point of 'being a skilled warrior' was 'can you figur…

The thrust of the original topic is, people want to be able to have their homes out 'in the world', to have housing where people can walk by it and see it daily.
While having your own ship is confirmed, what's not confirmed is... Well, Lu… -
I guess that would put a damper on the 'Buskraki race IS a class' idea...

That might just be the dagger. I'd check again.

I'd be wary about talking poorly of other genres of games just because they're newer - I've seen some incredibly creative, meaningful things come out of graphically intensive works.
It's like saying that Leonardo da Vinci was a terrible a… -
Well, just look at my profile picture, my friend.
Nothing quite says 'space royalty' like a snazzy uniform and a nice moustache.
In fact, I've uploaded the full picture to my profile page! For anyone who cares about the kind of… -
There is indeed a fine line between 'theft as profit' and 'theft as griefing' especially in the early days when Marks will be scarce. (The currency.)
I suppose it'd be similar to EVE Online - perhaps people would be more willing to hand over t… -
Could always look into making 'Bushraki Marauder' one of the classes if we ever expand on them post-launch. It could be like Lusternia's tree-people, where to take the skillset you MUST be that particular race. That way it could be completely oozing…

I believe there was something stated about how in hacking, if you use any kind of dictionary scripting to narrow down the choices as to what could possibly be remaining (a hangman solver is what i'd be thinking of) you are apparantly going to be per…

It's an impossibility for me to pick anything else. -
They actually said they're using American spelling because American English is the FUTURE and the OUTDATED NATURE of Fantasy games is what demanded silliness like 'colour'.
We only have the color of space, here, now. -
Volunteers have tasks placed on them that they may not particularly enjoy, and at least in the game I come from, they are expected to churn out building new areas when generally they may prefer to be roleplaying with players or the like, and RP with…

I believe they mentioned that everyone is meant to have their own ship and ship-collaboration will not be ANYTHING like it is in Lusternia.
So we're looking at more EVE-Online style, 'everyone has their own boat' as opposed to 'everyone's… -
If I wasn't set on being human, I'd definitely be a Jin. THeir physical appearance reminds me of the Tau and I find their culture incredibly amusing, and they're just ripe for further expansions to focus on them because of their god-king.

I'm hoping for a 'Principality of Zeon' feel.

Honestly, not allowing retirement credits worries me.
Would we be able to apply those to our already-established characters at least right when they start being legal? Because I wouldn't want to 'waste' a bunch of time having a char and t… -
Southern california as well.

I plan on being part of a more classy organization.
Just as filled with horrible acts but at least we'll be genteel about it. -
I'm so ready to be an ace mecha pilot, I mean BEAST pilot..

1. Will there be any way to develop a last name of your own, under admin approval or something?
2. Will the admins be taking any IC roles in this game beyond possessing NPCs? Important characters, like Gods in other games? Perhaps you're intend… -
I agree with @trey . Humans. I'm quite interested in all of the other races, though.

I will certainly be a member of Scatterhome, as a human.
