Yeah, and nanoseers don't have to get brand new iriil tattoos every time they die!

Map capture means you splice away the space map / starchart map onto its own separate mini window, so that not all of it floods the main screen. Nexus already does this natively, I think, so it's nothing to worry about.

@saturnine I just got PointZero and made 900 marks in profit from bashing Oranc for a few hours, so I'll likely be trying out Praviskar again now that I can affo…

People keep saying they're making bank from bashing starting at the 20s, but I'm at 25 and so far I haven't seen it happen. The places with the good junk rate kill me, while the places I can hunt safely only net me a few hundred marks, which are oft…

:C I die horribly in Praviskar! Oranc has been a bit better, but the marks are less than stellar. Maybe the 30s are when it gets better...

Speaking as a nanoseer, areas on my level range kill me. Lower-range areas are how I level up at all!

It's all voidkith (Voidism!); the "push" effect is mimicked by creating a space of voidkith in the opposite direction.

Not sure if it's just me, but I see other classes bashing fine. Meanwhile, at level 23, Tabby Outpost (level 15-25) remains to be the only area I can bash confidently without dying (and dying puts me in negative marks, even after junking). I have mu…

Right. The better analogy would be: everyone started out in a bike race. Some people fiddled their way into using a car. The admins noticed and took the cars away; they then removed the bikes and told everyone to go on foot from now on, but left eve…

On the other hand, the most important (at least, in other IREs) currency is dictated, at least partially, by the total amount of marks circulating the market: credits. If a small portion of players hold vastly superior amounts of the marks, then the…

Right! If Discord servers become so ingrained into Starmourn (to the point of advertising it in FHELPs), then it becomes a pseudo-requirement. "Not really required", but if you want to be fully in-the-know in your faction, you need it.

It's like this. College exists, and no one is technically required to get a degree and it's technically possible for everyone to get a degree, but the reality is quite, quite different.

Unrepentant "Join Song/Celestine!" post!

Something I put together! It's hilariously frankenstein code and me swinging a metaphorical sledgehammer at Mudlet. Don't mind the chatbox; I haven't …

It really depends on the player, I think. A lot of people, at that point in the tutorial, are overwhelmed, and don't react quickly or catch on to the fact that they have to kill the defenders first (and so waste rounds on the platform). But if you'r…

I think there is an IRE (Lusternia? I think?) wherein location updates could be configured to every room, or to every X number of rooms (3, or 5, or whatever). Maybe that could be something that Starmourn implements.
And, since we have da… -
Are ship vitals and such accessible via GMCP? If no, can it?

Suggested by @Dorn over the NEWBIE channel:
The prompt can be a bit spammy. Make built-in aliases that call up vitals information. It's great help, especia… -

If your belief is that anything and everything that happens in Starmourn is RP as long as it isn't explicitly OOC, well congratulations, you…It's HISTORY (channel). HISTORY FT, HISTORY NEWBIE. No history for CRT, though.I had a good time figuring out the puzzle to the broken drones on Selubir, because cloning was still free for me. (Quote)My suggestion is to peg re-cloning costs to level, rather than # of times one has died! I really have never been bothered with kill:death ratios (or with deaths, for the most part) in any of the games I've played, and I don't want to start now
